Trident for schools
For teachers and school IT · October 2026
Trident is a calculator app with three families: Classic, Natural and RPN. It runs in the browser on Chromebooks and laptops, and as an app on iPhone and iPad. There are no ads, no tracking, and no account is needed.
For teachers
- Class setup link. Pick a calculator, a graph and an optional exam-practice preset. Share it as a link or as a QR code on the projector, and students open the same setup. No accounts, nothing uploaded.
- Presenter view. Show the calculator big on a projector or TV. You get a key-history list, a freeze button, and a pointer.
- Exam practice. Students can rehearse with the app restricted the way many exams restrict calculators, with a timer. This is practice only: Trident is not approved for use in any real exam.
- Pro for verified teachers. Sign in with your school email in Settings, under For teachers, to ask for verification.
For IT
- Chromebooks: in the Google Admin console, add
https://sviewstudios.com/trident/app/as a web app by URL and force-install it. - iPad: get Trident Calculator in Apple School Manager under Apps and Books, then assign it with your MDM. Device-based licences work.
- Network: only
sviewstudios.comis needed. Google Firebase domains are needed only if you use optional sync or teacher sign-in. Polar is needed only for web purchases.
Privacy
Calculator work stays on the device. Optional sign-in, offered only to users 13 and older, stores synced calculator state in Google Firebase. Teacher verification stores a teacher's name, school and school email. We never sell data or use it for advertising. Read the privacy policy and the accessibility statement.
