The short version: Tine collects no data. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party SDKs, and you never create an account.

Microphone

Tine uses the microphone only to hear your instrument while a tuner screen is open. The sound is analysed on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Settings and setlists

Your preferences, setlists and practice minutes are stored on your device. If you use iCloud, Apple syncs them between your own devices through your iCloud account. South View Studios cannot see them.

Purchases

If you buy an optional upgrade, Apple handles the payment. We receive no payment details or personal information from Apple.

Children

Tine collects no information from anyone, including children.
