Common questions
The tuner says "Listening" but shows no note
Check that Tine has microphone access in Settings, then play a single sustained note close to the phone. For bass and low strings, give each note a second to settle.
How do I tune one string at a time?
Tap a string's circle to lock the tuner to it. Tap it again to go back to automatic string detection. When a string is locked, Tine warns you if it goes more than an octave too high.
How do I change the time signature?
On the Time screen, tap the time signature at the top left. The most used meters for your instrument are listed first, and the change applies on the next beat.
How do I change the skin?
Tap the palette button on the Tune, Time or Drone screen, or open Library, then Appearance.
The pendulum and my AirPods feel out of step
Wireless headphones delay sound. Open Settings, then Bluetooth latency, and tap along to calibrate.
Where is the Apple Watch app?
It installs with the iPhone app. If it does not appear, open the Watch app on your iPhone, choose My Watch, then Tine, then Install.
