Ask the family first, then share
Before you share anything, ask the family three things: what they cannot or will not eat, what time of evening suits them, and how they want food delivered. Many families prefer a cooler on the porch with no knock. Put the answers in the sheet description so friends read them before they sign up.
Spread the dates. Every other night for two to four weeks usually works better than a meal every night for one week, because freezers fill up fast. Start a few days after the baby arrives rather than the first night, when the family has the most visitors. Let friends choose takeout or a gift card, so people who cannot cook can still help, and ask them to use disposable containers. Add a custom question for what they plan to bring, and keep the names visible only to the organizer if the family wants quiet. Send the link to a small group in a message, not to a whole social feed.
