Slots that fit real schedules

Twenty-minute slots are common: ten to fifteen minutes to talk plus a buffer to reset. Offer a mix of afternoon and evening times, because many parents cannot leave work, and leave a few open slots at the end of the day for families who are late to respond. A teacher with 24 students typically needs about 24 slots plus a few spares.

Privacy matters here. Turn on the organizer-only roster, so parents see which times are taken but only you see who booked them, and ask for the parent's name and the student's first name in a custom question. Tell parents they can cancel from their confirmation link if something comes up, so you can offer the slot to someone else. Add the room number or meeting link in the description, and turn on reminders so each parent hears about their time before it begins. Close the sheet the day before so you can print one clean schedule.
