Find intercepts, highs and lows, and intersections on the graph canvas
Tap a curve to see its intercepts, maximum and minimum points and where it crosses other lines; trace along it and zoom.
- Drag the graph to move around. Pinch, or scroll with a mouse or trackpad, to zoom. The + and − buttons zoom too, and the house button returns to the standard view.
- Tap or click a curve to select it. Gray dots appear at its x- and y-intercepts, its highs and lows, and where it crosses other y = lines.
- Tap a gray dot to see its coordinates.
- Keep your finger (or mouse button) on the curve and slide along it to trace: a dot follows the curve and shows its coordinates. It jumps onto the gray dots when you get close.
- Tap an empty spot on the graph to deselect.
Tips
- Coordinates are shown to four decimal places. The values are found to full precision.
- For derivatives and integrals you can type them directly: y = d/dx (x^3), f'(2), int(t^2, t, 0, x), sum(n^2, n, 1, 10).
