- See your past calculations in HistoryOpen the History panel to see every earlier calculation and result for the calculator you are using.
- Reuse an earlier resultSend a result from History back into the calculator so you can build on it.
- Copy results and the screen as text, LaTeX or an imageCopy a result, a whole calculator screen, or a history entry as plain text, nicer Unicode symbols, LaTeX or a picture.
- Save the screen or a graph as a PNG pictureSave what the calculator screen shows (or the graph you drew) as a picture file you can add to homework or slides.
- Import data from a spreadsheet into your listsBring numbers from a CSV, TSV, text file or spreadsheet (.xlsx) into the list memory of your calculator.
- Export your lists or table as a CSV fileSave your list data, or the table currently on screen, as a CSV file for a spreadsheet, or copy it as CSV text.
- Start a notebookThe Notebook is a page of text, math, plot and data cells that you can run, edit, save and share.
- Plot graphs and data in a notebookUse plot cells to draw functions, 3D surfaces, scatter plots with a fitted line, and histograms.
- Save, export and print a notebookSave a notebook file, export it as Markdown or a web page, or print it to paper or PDF.
- Browse the reference libraryFind shapes, formula cards, toolkits and labs, all in one searchable library.
- Try a formula with live numbers and send it to the calculatorOpen a formula card, change the values, and tap Calculate to put the expression on your calculator.
- Use the subject toolkitsThe toolkits are small interactive tools: a triangle solver, unit circle, conics explorer, distribution visualizer, chemistry tools and personal finance.
- Explore 3D graphing and the other Pro labsLabs are deeper visual tools: 3D graphing, calculus visuals, solids of revolution, physics units and vectors. 3D shapes can be viewed in AR on supported devices.
- Use the exam-style formula sheetsOpen a one-page formula sheet for algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics or physics, and print it.
- Load a graph from the example galleryPick a ready-made graph, such as parabolas, trig waves, conics or a polar rose, and have it drawn for you.
- Switch between calculator modelsChange calculators with the Classic, Natural and RPN switch at the top, or choose any model from the list.
- Change skins, dark mode and display optionsPick a calculator skin, choose light or dark appearance, and switch display options like pixel-accurate graphs.
- Change the calculator layoutSwitch between the Device keypad and the Spread layout for big screens, and move or resize the display and key groups with Arrange.
- Type with your computer keyboardOn a computer, tablet keyboard or Chromebook, you can type numbers, operators and common functions instead of tapping the keys.
- Show the calculator on a projector or TVTeachers can show the calculator screen big, with a key history, a freeze button and a pointer. Use the Present window on a computer or connect a TV to an iPad.
- Practise with exam-style restrictionsExam practice hides features that many exam rooms do not allow, and can run a timer. It is for practice only and is not approved for real exams.
- Share a class setup with a link or QR codeTeachers can create a link or QR code that opens Trident on the right model, with a graph ready and optional exam practice. No accounts needed.
