Load a graph from the example gallery
Pick a ready-made graph, such as parabolas, trig waves, conics or a polar rose, and have it drawn for you.
The gallery has graphs sorted into groups such as Linear, Quadratics, Trigonometry, Calculus, Conics, Parametric, Polar and Fun. Each card has a small picture, a title and a one-line description of the idea.
- On a graphing model, tap the Graph examples button on the top edge of the calculator screen. You can also open it from the Examples button inside the reference library.
- Type in the search box or tap a category chip (for example Quadratics or Polar). Choose All to see everything.
- Tap a card. The gallery closes and the graph equations, window and mode are loaded, and the graph is drawn.
- Now use the calculator as normal: trace, zoom, look at the table, or edit the equations.
Tips
- If you pick an example while on a model that cannot graph, the app switches to Classic Graphing 84 and shows "Switched to the graphing calculator".
- Loading an example replaces the equations that were in the Y= list.
- The Classic CAS and Natural Color Graphing models can also load examples.
- During exam practice the gallery may be hidden.
