Share a graph or make a match-the-graph challenge
Send a graph as a link or QR code, and make challenges where students type equations to match a hidden graph.
A share link holds the whole graph, so nothing is uploaded and nobody needs an account. Anyone who opens the link gets their own copy.
- Tap the Share button in the top bar. Tap Copy link, or Share… to send it with another app.
- Show the QR code on the board; students scan it with their camera to open the graph.
- To make a challenge, build the graph students should match, then open Menu › Make a challenge.
- Tick the lines students must match and add instructions if you like, then tap Make the challenge. The share sheet opens with the challenge link.
- Students see a dashed graph with its equation hidden. When their own line lands on top of it, the banner says "Matched!" and the line gets a check mark.
- Built-in practice challenges are in the light bulb sheet under Match the graph.
Tips
- Challenges compare the pictures, not the algebra, so y = 2(x + 1) matches y = 2x + 2.
- The answer travels inside the link, so use challenges for practice rather than grades.
- Very large graphs are too long for a QR code; share the link instead.
