Try it right here

No install. Spin it now.

Type a few names and spin the same wheel that's in the app. Want broadcast to a TV, saved lists, or the other three modes? That's what the free web app is for.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Seeded and reproducible, same as the app.
How it works

Three taps to a shared pick

The host sets it up from a phone. Everyone else just watches it land, or joins in.

1

Paste names, or let people add themselves

Paste a roster in one go, or turn on self-entry and let people type their own name in with the code, no typing for the host.

2

Tap Spin

Wheel, draw, raffle or teams, the pick is seeded once and shown everywhere. No hidden re-rolls.

3

Every phone and the TV land together

The same spin, the same result, at the same moment, on the host's phone, every viewer's phone, and the TV.

PickKeepers wheel mid-spin on a phone

Run it on your phone,

PickKeepers broadcast sheet with a link, QR code and the self-entry toggle

then tap Broadcast for a link, QR, or code, with self-entry on.

Four modes, all free

Whatever kind of fair pick you need

Same board, same broadcast. Pick the mode that fits the moment.

Wheel

Entries become slices, sized by weight if you use it. Tap Spin and every screen animates the same spin and lands on the same slice.

WeightsNo-repeatConfetti

Draw

Face-down cards shuffle, then one flips over, the same seeded pick as a reveal instead of a wheel. Good for "who answers next."

Raffle

Entries hold ticket numbers. Draw winners without replacement, and each one gets a 4-character claim code derived from the seed and their ticket.

Ticket numbersClaim codes

Teams

Split entries into balanced teams in one tap, with optional captains. The TV shows the full grid, and every self-entered phone shows its own team.

PickKeepers raffle winners with ticket numbers and claim codes

Raffle winners on the TV: ticket numbers for the room, a claim code for each winner to verify in person.

Features

Built so nobody can call it rigged

The basics a picker should have always had.

Broadcast to any screen

A link, a QR code, or a 5-letter code. The TV, a second phone, or a tablet on the wall all land on the same result.

Self-entry by code

Turn it on and anyone with the code types their own name in. Nobody has to hand the host a list, or trust the host typed it right.

Verifiable fairness

The seed is shown for every draw, and anyone can tap Verify to recompute the result from the seed and the pool right there.

Weights and no-repeat

Give an entry more chances by weight, or remove each winner from the pool automatically so nobody gets picked twice.

Roster paste and saved lists

Paste one name per line or comma-separated, and save the list to reuse it next time without retyping.

History and CSV

Every past pick with its time, names, and seed, plus a CSV export whenever you want the record in a spreadsheet.

Big-screen wheel that stays readable

The wheel fills the display and keeps its labels legible even with a full pool, so the back row can read it too.

Made for iPad

On iPad the wheel or draw sits beside Spin and the entries list, no separate screen to switch to. Present fills the screen with just the pick.

AirPlay and HDMI

AirPlay to an Apple TV, or plug in with USB-C to HDMI. The pick fills the TV while controls stay on your phone, and broadcasting keeps working alongside.

PickKeepers self-entry screen, a participant adding their own name with the code

Participants add their own name with just the code,

PickKeepers fairness sheet showing the seed and a Verify button

and the fairness sheet lets anyone check the seed against the result.

Who it's for

One picker, every room

Same app, four very different Fridays.

For classrooms

Pick who answers next, hand out a random group, or run house-points raffles, all on the projector, all with first names only.

For events and clubs

Run a raffle with real ticket numbers and claim codes on the venue TV, so nobody has to take the host's word for who won.

For coaches and teams

Split a roster into balanced teams or court pairings in one tap, then broadcast the grid so every player checks their own phone.

For parties

Spin for who goes first, draw a prize winner, or pick teams for game night, on the living-room TV with everyone's phone joined in.

PickKeepers teams mode showing a balanced team grid

Teams mode: balanced, with captains if you want them, and every self-entered phone shows its own team.

Any TV, any browser

Open it on any TV and type the code

No cast hardware, no mirroring, no app to install on the display. pickkeepers-app.netlify.app plus a 5-letter code is the whole setup, and it reconnects on its own if the Wi-Fi drops. Or skip the code and AirPlay or HDMI straight from your phone or iPad.

PickKeepers full-bleed TV view showing a large readable wheel

Full-bleed wheel, big and readable, with the join code shown for anyone who wants to add themselves.

PickKeepers Pro

One unlock. Yours for good. $5.99

Your name, colours and logo on screen

Your classroom, club, or event name and branding on every board and every TV.

Permanent code

Claim a name so the room TV bookmarks one link forever. Nothing expires between events.

Six Pro wheel themes

Carnival, chalk, stadium, gold and neon, each rendering the same live wheel with a different look.

Unlimited viewers

Free boards support up to 5 watchers. Pro removes the cap entirely.

No watermark

The broadcast view is clean, just your wheel, your colours, your room.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Is it really random?

Yes. Every spin, draw or raffle is a seeded random pick, and the seed is shown right on the result. Tap Verify and the app recomputes the result from the seed and the pool right in front of you, so nobody has to take the app's word for it.

Do participants need the app?

No. A browser is enough. Open pickkeepers-app.netlify.app on any phone, tablet or TV, type the code, and you're watching, or joining, with nothing to install.

Can I put it on a TV without a link?

Yes. AirPlay to an Apple TV, or connect with a USB-C to HDMI adapter, no link or code needed. On iPad or phone, Present does the same full-screen job.

Is it safe for classrooms?

Yes. Use first names or nicknames, there are no accounts for participants, and nothing is collected from anyone who joins with a code. A board and its entries are deleted when you're done.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. PickKeepers Pro is a single one-time unlock, $5.99, yours for good, no renewal, ever.

Does it work offline?

Yes, on a single device with no connection at all. Broadcasting it to other screens needs an internet connection.

Is my data private?

Yes. There are no accounts for participants. Boards are identified only by a random code. See the privacy policy for details.
