A random team generator the room can watch
Paste the names, choose how many teams, and tap. Teams are dealt out evenly and show up on the TV and on every phone at the same moment.
PickKeepers for iPhone and iPad is coming soon. You can try the free web version now at sviewstudios.com/pickkeepers/app/. Lock-in before the spin, proof links, the QR lobby and the one-device room demo arrive with the next PickKeepers version.
How it works
- Add names by typing, pasting a list, or letting people join the room by QR code.
- Choose the number of teams, from 2 up to 12.
- Tap Make teams. The list is shuffled and dealt out one at a time, so team sizes differ by at most one.
- Turn on captains to make the first person in each team the captain.
Good for
- Pickup games, league nights and practice scrimmages
- Classroom groups and lab partners
- Game nights, workshops and trivia teams
PickKeepers makes random, evenly sized teams. It does not balance by skill, keep specific people apart or schedule matches. For brackets and schedules use BracketKeepers.
Everyone sees the same teams
Teams appear on the TV and every joined phone together, so there is no arguing about who read the list wrong. The result can be checked afterwards with the check page.

Questions
How are the teams made?
The list is shuffled with a draw code and dealt out one person at a time to each team, so teams are as even as possible.

No. Teams are random and evenly sized. It does not rank players or keep people apart.
Do players need the app?
No. Players can join from a browser with a code, and need no account.
Is it free?
Yes, with up to 300 entries. Pro is an optional one-time upgrade.
What PickKeepers is not
- Not a scoreboard, game clock, bracket, quiz or flashcard app. For those, see ScoreKeepers (a shared live scoreboard), ClockKeepers (a game clock and timers), BracketKeepers (tournament brackets), QuizKeepers (classroom quizzes), FlashKeepers (flashcards).
- Not a social giveaway tool. It does not log in to Instagram, TikTok or any account, and it does not pull comments. You bring the list, or people join the room.
- Not an account system. Hosts and participants need no sign-up, and the free version has no ads.
- Not a replacement for local raffle or lottery rules. If your raffle needs a license or a reporting step, that part is yours; PickKeepers only makes the draw itself easy to watch and check.
