Open the screen link on the classroom computer, or use AirPlay or HDMI. The code and a QR code appear.

Questions teachers ask

Do students need an account or an app?

No. Students open the join link or scan the QR code, type the room code and a nickname, and play in any phone, tablet or laptop browser. Nobody signs up, the teacher included.

How many players can join for free?

30 players per game, enough for a full class, and you can keep 3 quizzes. The whole 2,136-quiz library is free to host. Pro removes both caps.

Is QuizKeepers Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time $7.99 purchase. There's no renewal. Buy it in the iPhone or iPad app, or in your browser on a laptop or Chromebook.

Does the projector need the app?

No. Open the screen link in any browser on the classroom computer. Nothing installs on the display. From an iPad or iPhone you can also use AirPlay or an HDMI adapter.

What if my students don't have phones?

Use Room mode. The questions go on the shared screen, students raise their hands, and you tap in the count for each answer. No student devices needed.

Can students study on their own?

Yes. Practice mode runs any quiz or library set on one device with no code: Quiz with instant feedback, Flashcards, and a timed Match game. Questions you missed come first next time.

What data does QuizKeepers collect about students?

Students give only a nickname for the game. No accounts, no email, no ads. The app counts anonymous usage events (never names, codes or answers typed), and quizzes and reports stay on the teacher's device unless the teacher turns on Pro sync. Read the privacy policy.

Can I use it on a Chromebook, Windows laptop or Android phone?

Yes. The web app runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, free. There's also an Android app you can install from our site or itch.io.
