Spades

Trick-taking · 4, in partnerships players

Bid your tricks with a partner. Spades are always trump.

How it plays

Each player bids how many tricks they expect to win, or bids nil. Your side scores its bid when it makes it and loses it when it falls short; extra tricks pile up as bags that eventually cost you.

Rummy · 2 to 8 players

Meld for points, lay off on anyone, race to 500.
