Common questions

How does nearby play work?

Everyone at the table opens Shuffle Club on their own phone or iPad. One person starts a table and the others join it. The devices find each other directly over the local network, so you do not need the internet. The first time, the app asks for Local Network access. Please tap Allow, because that is how your devices find each other.

How does play with faraway friends work?

Start a FaceTime call with your friends, then open Shuffle Club and start a game. Everyone on the call is invited to join over SharePlay. You can see and hear each other while you play. Everyone on the call needs Shuffle Club on their own device.

How do I restore my Table Pass?

If you bought the Table Pass before, open Shuffle Club, go to the unlock screen, and tap Restore Purchase. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it. The Table Pass is a one-time purchase, and Family Sharing is on, so your family group can use it too.

What accessibility settings are there?

Shuffle Club follows your iPhone's text size setting, and has options for high contrast, larger cards, and slower pacing for computer players. It works with VoiceOver. You can find these in the app's Settings screen, and in your device's Settings app under Accessibility.

What if my connection drops during a game?

The app tries to reconnect right away. If someone cannot get back in, a computer player takes over their cards so the rest of the table can keep playing. When that person reconnects, they can take their seat back. If a table will not reconnect, check that Wi-Fi is on for everyone, that Local Network is allowed in Settings, then Shuffle Club, and that no one is in Airplane Mode.

How do I report a bug?

Use the form above or email us. Please tell us which game you were playing, what happened, and which device and iOS version you have. A short description is plenty.
