Take the getting-started tour
A short tour points out the main parts of the screen the first time you use the app. You can skip it and replay it later.
The first time you open Trident it asks "What class are you in?" and sets up the calculator your class uses. After you choose, a short tour points at the real parts of the screen to show what they do.
- Choose your class on the first screen. The app recommends a calculator model. Tap the button that starts with "Use" and the model name, or tap "Skip for now".
- The tour appears once for each calculator family (Classic, Natural and RPN), over the real calculator screen. Highlighted spots explain the family switch, the model button, the screen, the most important keys of that family and the Help button.
- Move through the steps in order. You can skip the tour at any time.
- To see it again, tap the ? button in the top bar to open Help, then choose "Take the tour".
- To choose a different class and model later, open Settings and tap Show next to "Pick by class".
Tips
- The Help sheet (the ? button) also holds all of these guides, with a search box.
- Nothing is lost if you skip. Every item the tour shows is also described in the guides.
