Find the midpoint of a segment
Average the x values and the y values of two points to find the point halfway between them.
The midpoint of (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is ((x1 + x2) / 2, (y1 + y2) / 2). For (2, 3) and (8, 11) the midpoint is (5, 7).

Start on the main screen: Press EXIT (once or twice) to close any menu and return to the plain stack view of Y and X.
Key in 2 ENTER 8, add, then divide by 2. This leaves the x coordinate, 5.
2ENTER8+2÷Do the y values the same way: 3 ENTER 11, add, divide by 2. The two-line display shows both answers.

You should seey: 5.0000 x: 7.0000
The Y line holds the x coordinate (5) and the X line the y coordinate (7).
Tips
- Keep x with x and y with y. Mixing them is the most common error.
