Sort a list from smallest to largest
Put the numbers in a list in order, which makes the median and mode easy to spot.
Sorting puts a list in order. Once sorted, the smallest and largest values sit at the ends, the median sits in the middle, and repeated values (the mode) sit next to each other.
The example list is 5, 2, 9, 1, 7. Sorted, it becomes 1, 2, 5, 7, 9.

Tips
- If you have two lists that belong together (like x and y), sort them together with a command that moves both, otherwise the pairs get scrambled.
