Common questions
Which calculators are free?
Five: Classic Graphing 84, Classic Scientific 30, Natural Scientific 991, Natural Color Graphing and RPN Scientific 15. The reference library, subject toolkits, step-by-step explanations, presenter mode, exam practice and class links are free too. Trident Pro adds Classic Financial II, Classic CAS, RPN Financial 12, RPN Advanced 42 and RPN Power 48, saving and exporting notebooks, 3D labs and AR, premium skins and presenter extras.
How do I restore Trident Pro?
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, then Trident Pro, and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it. Purchases are handled by Apple, so we cannot see or restore them from our side.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. The lifetime option is a single purchase with nothing to cancel.
Can I use my Pro on the web?
Yes. In the iPhone or iPad app, ask for a web pass code and enter it in the web app. Pro can also be bought directly on the web, where our payment provider emails you a license key.
I am a teacher. How do I get Pro free?
In Settings, under For teachers, choose I'm a teacher and sign in with your school email to ask for verification. Personal email addresses cannot be verified. See Trident for schools.
Does Trident work offline?
The iPhone and iPad app works with no connection. The web app at sviewstudios.com/trident/app keeps working offline after your first visit; install it from your browser to open it like an app.
Can I use Trident in an exam?
No. Trident is not approved for use in any exam, and phones are not allowed in most exams. Exam practice mode is for rehearsal only.
How do I put the calculator on a TV or projector?
On iPhone or iPad, connect to the screen with AirPlay or a cable and turn on presenter mode: the calculator and a large key history appear on the big screen. On the web, use the presenter button in the top bar.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings, then Language. Trident is in 15 languages, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic.
