Hyperbolic functions
Find sinh, cosh and tanh with the hyperbolic menu.
The hyperbolic functions are built from e^x. For example, sinh x = (e^x − e^-x) ÷ 2. They do not depend on the angle mode.
Example: sinh(1) = 1.175201194.

Start on the main screen: Press 2nd then mode (QUIT) to leave any menu or screen and return to the calculation screen.
Press 2nd then the π key to open the HYP menu. Pick 1 for sinh. Type 1, close the bracket and press enter.

Start on the main screen: Press MENU, then 1 (Calculate) to return to the main calculation screen. AC clears the line you are on.
Press the hyp key and pick 1 for sinh. Type 1 and press =.

Start on the main screen: Press MENU then 1 to open Run-Matrix, the main calculation screen. Press EXIT to back out of a bar or screen, and SHIFT then EXIT (QUIT) to return to the app start.
Open OPTN, then F5 for the hyperbolic menu. F1 is sinh. Type 1 and press EXE.

Start on the main screen: There is no menu to leave. Press the back arrow to clear a number you are typing, or CLx (g then back arrow) to clear the X register.
Key in 1. Press f then GTO to use HYP, then SIN for sinh.

Press g then GTO (HYP⁻¹) before the key for the inverse hyperbolic functions.
Tips
- Hyperbolic functions are not periodic. Do not try to use them with degree or radian conversions.
