Use frequencies (how many times each value occurs)
Enter each value once with a count beside it instead of typing it over and over.
If a value shows up many times, it is quicker to list it once and say how often it occurs. This is a frequency table.
The example is the values 1, 2, 3, 4 with frequencies 3, 1, 2, 4. That is ten numbers in all, with a total of 27 and a mean of 2.7.

Tips
- Check that the value list and the frequency list are equally long. A frequency of 0 simply skips that value.
