12.2Number range and precision#
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Digits shown | 10 (plus a sign), with commas in groups of three |
| Digits kept inside | 13 significant digits |
| Largest number | 9.999999999 × 10⁹⁹ (larger results become this and set flag 9) |
| Smallest number | About 1 × 10⁻⁹⁹ (smaller results become 0) |
| Registers | 20 numbered, plus I |
| Stack | 4 levels (X, Y, Z, T) and LSTx |
| Program memory | 448 lines, 7 subroutine levels |
| Flags | 10 (0 to 9) |
The display setting changes only how X is shown. A number that does not fit FIX is shown in scientific form. FIX with a large number of decimals shows fewer decimals when the integer part is long, so the total never goes beyond ten digits.
