Natural logs and the number e

Use ln and eˣ, the natural log and its inverse, based on e ≈ 2.71828.

Open in Trident

The number e is about 2.718281828. The natural log ln(x) asks: what power of e gives x? The key eˣ does the opposite.

ln(20) = 2.995732274, and e raised to that gives 20 again.
