Tests and logic

Comparisons that return 1 or 0, AND, OR, XOR, NOT and SAME.

16.1The TEST menu#

Comparison commands take two objects and return 1 for true or 0 for false. Right shift MODE opens TEST. You can also type the symbols with the keys: left shift 4 types <, left shift 5 types >.

TEST page 1: ==, ≠, <, >, ≤, ≥. The display shows: RAD                      { HOME } / 6: / 5: / 4: / 3: / 2: / 1: /   ==    ≠    <     >    ≤     ≥  .
TEST page 1: ==, ≠, <, >, ≤, ≥.

Example 16.1

Is 5 greater than 3?

  1. Put 5 and 3 on the stack, open TEST and press > (fourth key).
